T...Basically, a brief introduction of OSS and QGIS. Then GIS basics followed by software acquisition, installation and plugin configuration. Next, how to transform physical features represented by point, line and polygon into GIS format. Then, how to rectify topology and attribute error. Lastly, how to use key modules often used for planning purpose e.g. Query Builder, Print Composer, GeoReferencing, OpenLayers, Delimitied Text Layer and eVis depending on how quick they learn. Main participants were from local authorities and state planning departments but upon request from whatever government agency we have provided QGIS training.
